An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad has approved bail for Emaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha in two separate cases.
The court granted bail against surety bonds of Rs 5000 each and ordered their release in the relevant cases. The hearing was conducted by Judge Abu Al-Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain of the Anti-Terrorism Court, while advocate Aimal Khan Mandokhail represented the accused in court.
The bail petitions were approved after reviewing statements submitted by the complainant in a protest case filed outside the Islamabad High Court. During the hearing, the defense lawyer argued that no fighting or violent activity had taken place and that the accused were raising voices regarding judicial matters outside the High Court.

He further stated that a baseless FIR was registered in connection with a protest at the Press Club and that the accused were supporting marginalized communities and working on cases related to missing persons. The lawyer claimed the case was filed due to their activism.
The prosecution opposed the bail petitions, arguing against release. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court announced its decision and approved bail.
Officials confirmed that cases against Emaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha are registered at Secretariat and Kohsar police stations.
