The Sindh government has completed preparations for the Sindh Youth Card, which is expected to be officially launched in the last week of August.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will inaugurate the program.

Officials say the Sindh Youth Card has been introduced to improve opportunities for young people and help them build better careers through education, financial support and skills development.

100,000 young people to benefit first

Sindh Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mahar said the program is being launched on the special instructions of the PPP chairman.

During the first phase, the Sindh Youth Card will be issued to 100,000 young people between the ages of 15 and 29.

Eligible applicants will be selected from all 30 districts of Sindh.

The government says the initiative is designed to reach young people who have had limited access to official support programs.

Scholarships and financial assistance included

The Sindh Youth Card will provide access to university scholarships and opportunities for higher education in Pakistan and abroad.

Cardholders will also become eligible for interest-free loans, financial assistance and advanced skills training.

Officials believe these benefits will help young people become financially independent and improve their future employment prospects.

The government hopes the initiative will encourage more students to continue their education while also supporting entrepreneurship.

Extra benefits for cardholders

Besides educational and financial support, the Sindh Youth Card will offer several additional facilities.

Cardholders will receive discounts on local public transport and train travel.

They will also receive priority access to selected public and private sector services.

Officials say these benefits are intended to reduce everyday expenses while making important services more accessible for young people.

Who can apply?

Registration for the Sindh Youth Card will be completed entirely through an online application system.

The government says the process has been designed to be simple and convenient for applicants.

However, only candidates holding a Sindh domicile will be eligible for the program.

The card will be issued through Jazz Bank, while complete registration instructions and application details will be announced in the coming days.
