(Web Desk): Sindh government jobs are opening in 13 departments for Grade 5 to 15 posts, with IBA test pass interviews starting August 5 across divisions for eligible candidates.

The Sindh government has announced new employment opportunities in 13 provincial departments, offering vacant positions from Grade 5 to Grade 15.

The move is expected to provide new opportunities for eligible candidates seeking government employment across the province.

The government has also released the interview schedule for candidates who successfully passed the IBA test for these positions.

According to the announced schedule, oral interviews will begin on August 5, 2026, and continue until August 25, 2026.

The interviews will be conducted in phases. The process will begin in the Hyderabad Division, followed by other divisions according to the official schedule.

Interviews to begin from August 5

Candidates who have qualified through the IBA testing process will be called for interviews according to their respective divisions.

The Sindh government has advised eligible applicants to reach their assigned interview centres on the specified date and time.

Candidates are also expected to bring all required documents with them. Missing documents or failure to appear at the designated time could create problems during the selection process.

The division-based interview system is intended to make the process easier to manage across the province.

It will also allow officials to handle candidates in different areas instead of conducting all interviews at one location.

13 departments included in hiring

The new recruitment drive covers a wide range of government departments. These include the Energy Department, Livestock and Fisheries, Auqaf, Zakat, Ushr and Religious Affairs.

The College Education Department, Works and Services, Board of Revenue, Transport and Mass Transit departments are also included.

Other departments involved in the recruitment process include Sports and Youth Affairs, Agriculture, Supply and Prices, Labour and Human Resources.

The list also includes the Anti-Corruption Department, Culture and Tourism, and Women Development Department.

The wide range of departments means candidates from different educational and professional backgrounds may find opportunities within the recruitment drive.

However, applicants should check the requirements of their specific post before appearing for an interview.

Merit-based selection promised

The Sindh government says the recruitment process will be completed according to merit and established rules.

Officials have also promised transparency throughout the selection process. The stated aim is to ensure that candidates who meet the required criteria receive equal opportunities.

The government says filling vacant positions will help improve the performance of different departments.

Officials also believe the recruitment drive can provide employment opportunities for young people across Sindh.

The recruitment comes as government departments continue to require additional staff to perform administrative and public service duties.

What candidates should know

Candidates who have passed the IBA test should pay close attention to their interview schedule.

The interviews are scheduled to take place between August 5 and August 25, 2026. Hyderabad Division will host the first phase before the process moves to other divisions.

Applicants should check their assigned interview date, time and location carefully.

They should also prepare all required educational, identification and other supporting documents before travelling to the interview centre.

Candidates should avoid waiting until the final day to arrange their paperwork. Having documents ready in advance can help prevent unnecessary difficulties at the interview stage.

Why these jobs matter

Government jobs remain highly sought after in Pakistan because they can offer relatively stable employment and opportunities for long-term careers.

The latest Sindh recruitment drive could therefore attract significant interest among young job seekers.

The inclusion of 13 departments also gives the hiring process a broader reach. Candidates may have opportunities in sectors ranging from education and agriculture to transport, culture and public administration.

The recruitment could also help departments address staff shortages and improve the delivery of government services.

For candidates, however, passing the written test is only one part of the process. They must still complete the interview and satisfy all other eligibility and verification requirements.
