Rawalpindi Green Bus Route 2 updated: New route to pass through Kachehri Chowk

The Green Bus service on Route 2 currently operates between Fawara Chowk and Koral Chowk. Under the new alignment, the buses will now pass through Kachehri Chowk, making the route more convenient for commuters living and working in the area.

According to the updated route, the bus will travel from Fawara Chowk to Liaquat Bagh, then continue through Mareer Chowk and Kachehri Chowk. From there, it will use Old Airport Road before reaching Koral Chowk.

The revised route will include 20 passenger stops between Fawara Chowk and Koral Chowk. The additional coverage is expected to improve connectivity and make public transport easier to access for thousands of daily commuters.

The new alignment is aimed at providing smoother travel and serving more passengers by covering important commercial and residential areas along the route.
