Govt offers paid internship for students – Here's how to apply!

LAHORE (Web Desk): Punjab has announced the opening of applications for the Chief Minister IT Internship Program (CMIT), offering paid internship opportunities for IT and Computer Science students.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between education and employment by connecting young graduates with top IT and software companies in Punjab.

Through this program, participants will gain hands-on industry experience, enhance their technical skills, and boost their employability in the fast-growing digital market.

According to the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), each selected intern will receive a monthly stipend of Rs50,000 during the five-month internship.

The program focuses on providing training in market-relevant technologies and real-world exposure to professional IT environments.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must hold a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline completed within the past four years. A Punjab domicile and a valid CNIC are also mandatory.
