University of Gwadar VC and Pro-Vice chancellor go missing

Authorities said the case has triggered concern as Gwadar University VC and pro-Vice missing reports surfaced after the senior academic leaders failed to reach their destination.

Vice Chancellor Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir and Pro-Vice Chancellor Syed Manzoor Ahmed had left Gwadar along with a driver and another university staff member.

Officials confirmed that the group has not arrived in Quetta even after more than 24 hours of travel.

The incident of Pro Vice Chancellor Gwadar missing became more serious after their mobile phones were switched off near the Mastung area.

After that point, no contact was established with the group, raising fears about their safety.

Police in Mastung stated that kidnapping cannot be ruled out at this stage of the investigation.
