Mufti Abdul Rahim shares powerful message with students at ISPR Summer Internship 2026
ISPR Summer Internship connects thousands of students
A special session was held under the ISPR Summer Internship Programme 2026 featuring Mufti Abdul Rahim, Chancellor of Al-Ghazali University. More than 6,150 male and female students from 21 stations across Pakistan attended the interactive session.
The event focused on strengthening students’ understanding of Pakistan’s ideology, the importance of the state, national security and the responsibilities of citizens. Participants also listened to discussions on peace, unity and the role of young people in building a stronger country.
The session was arranged as part of the ISPR Summer Internship Programme, which aims to engage students from across the country and encourage positive discussions on national issues.
Mufti Abdul Rahim highlights importance of Pakistan
During his address, Mufti Abdul Rahim described Pakistan as a great blessing and trust from Allah. He said every citizen has a religious and national responsibility to love the country, protect it and contribute to its progress.
He stressed that peace, justice and the protection of people’s lives, property and dignity are among the most important responsibilities of the state. According to him, a peaceful and stable society can only be achieved when these responsibilities are fulfilled effectively.
He also encouraged students to play a positive role in society by promoting unity, discipline and respect for the law. He said the younger generation has an important responsibility in Pakistan’s future development.
The participants listened carefully to the discussion, which focused on national harmony and the role of citizens in supporting peace and stability.
Discussion on national security and peace
Mufti Abdul Rahim also spoke about national security and discussed the issue of Fitna al-Khawarij. He praised the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s security forces and described their efforts as an important religious and national duty.
He said Islam teaches peace, the protection of innocent lives and the prevention of violence and disorder. According to him, those who target innocent Muslims go against the true teachings of Islam.
He added that maintaining peace and protecting society require cooperation between state institutions and the public. He said national unity becomes stronger when citizens stand together against violence and extremism.
The speaker encouraged students to promote tolerance, mutual respect and social harmony in their daily lives. He said these values are necessary for a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.

Women’s role in national development
During the session, Mufti Abdul Rahim also highlighted the important role of women in society and national security.
He referred to the courage and sacrifice of Hazrat Umm Ammarah (RA) during the Battle of Uhud as an inspiring example of women’s contribution. He said her bravery demonstrates that women have always played meaningful roles in serving their communities and protecting important values.
He encouraged female students to continue contributing positively through education, character and public service. He said educated and responsible women are essential for the country’s future progress.
The session concluded with students expressing interest in the topics discussed and appreciating the opportunity to interact through the ISPR Summer Internship Programme.
