MDCAT 2026 test date and centres confirmed across Sindh
The Medical and Dental College Admission Test will take place on Sunday, September 20. Sukkur IBA Testing Services will conduct the examination under its supervision.
Multiple centres have been arranged in major cities to make it easier for candidates to appear in the test. Students have been advised to reach their assigned centres on time.
Examination centres across Sindh
In Karachi, candidates will take the test at NED University of Engineering and Technology and Dow University of Health Sciences. Centres will also operate in Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Larkana, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas and Shaheed Benazirabad.
Candidates in Hyderabad will appear at Public School, Latifabad. The Jamshoro test centre will be located at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences.
More centres confirmed for candidates
In Mirpurkhas, the examination will be held at Mir Sher Muhammad Talpur Public School. Larkana candidates will take the test at the Police Training School Ground on Wagon Road.
The centre in Shaheed Benazirabad will be at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology. Candidates in Sukkur will appear at IBA Public School on Old Airport Road.
Sindh residents who have moved to Islamabad will be able to take the test at the Pakistan National Council of Arts. This arrangement is intended to help candidates who are no longer living in Sindh.
Three-hour test and important instructions
According to Sukkur IBA Testing Services, the MDCAT will last for three hours. Candidates must reach their respective examination centres at the specified reporting time.
No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the test ends. Separate waiting areas will also be provided for parents at all examination centres.
Essential stationery and clean drinking water will be available inside the examination halls. Candidates should follow the instructions carefully to avoid problems on test day.
The announcement gives MDCAT candidates a clear timeline and helps them prepare for the examination in advance. The additional Islamabad centre is also useful for Sindh residents who have relocated.
The large number of centres across Sindh should make travelling easier for many students. Reaching the centre on time and following the examination rules will be important for a smooth test experience.
