MDCAT 2026 results announced amid FIA action against marks scam
Top position secured with perfect score
Muhammad Hassan secured the top position after scoring a perfect 180 out of 180 marks in the examination. His result placed him at the top of the list as thousands of candidates awaited their scores.
A total of 38,845 candidates had registered for the medical entrance examination, while 37,747 candidates appeared in the test. According to the announced results, around 66% of those who appeared were declared successful.
FIA uncovers alleged MDCAT marks scam
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has also busted an organised group allegedly involved in defrauding students and their parents in the name of increasing MDCAT marks. The suspects allegedly promised candidates that they could manipulate examination results and improve their merit positions.
According to FIA officials, the group targeted MDCAT candidates and their families by offering higher marks in exchange for large sums of money. The FIA said the suspects collected millions of rupees through the alleged fraud.
Main suspects arrested as probe expands
The FIA has arrested the main suspects allegedly involved in the network. Officials said investigations are continuing to determine the full scope of the operation and identify other people connected with the alleged scam.
The agency has also expanded raids and operations across the country to arrest alleged facilitators, agents and other members of the group. Further action is expected as investigators collect evidence and examine the financial dealings involved.
FIA issues warning to students and parents
The FIA has urged students and parents to remain cautious of people claiming they can change MDCAT results or guarantee admission through illegal means. The warning comes as candidates compete for limited medical college seats and may become targets of fraudulent offers.
The agency advised families to avoid paying money to anyone promising to manipulate marks or merit positions. Students should rely on official examination and admission procedures and report suspicious offers to the relevant authorities.
The MDCAT 2026 results show that a large number of candidates successfully cleared the examination, while Muhammad Hassan achieved a perfect score. At the same time, the FIA action highlights the risks students and parents can face from people claiming they can illegally influence examination results.
The alleged scam also shows why candidates should verify admission-related information through official channels. Any offer to increase marks or guarantee admission in exchange for money should be treated with caution.
