Admission eligibility expanded as commission releases new schedule
The education commission has released a new admission schedule outlining eligibility criteria for upcoming admissions across relevant institutions in Pakistan.
According to the official announcement, students who have completed 12 years of education will be eligible to apply for admission. The decision aims to ensure wider participation of qualified candidates in the upcoming academic intake.
The commission further clarified that candidates appearing in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part-II examinations will also be allowed to take part in the admission test process. This step is expected to provide equal opportunity to students who are currently completing their intermediate education.
Officials stated that the move is part of efforts to streamline the admission process and make it more inclusive for final-year students awaiting results. They added that the policy will help reduce delays in academic progression and support timely entry into higher education programs.
As per the announced schedule, the last date for submission of applications has been fixed as May 25. After this deadline, no applications will be accepted under any circumstances.
Education authorities have advised students to complete their applications well before the closing date to avoid any inconvenience. They also emphasized that all applicants must carefully follow the instructions provided in the official guidelines to ensure successful submission.
The commission has assured that all applications will be processed transparently, and merit will remain the primary basis for selection in all programs.
