Police said the 14-year-old girl, Naila Chandio, had been missing for about 15 days. She was kidnapped from the Kacha area of Khairpur and later taken to different locations by the suspects. During a police operation, she was safely recovered, and two alleged kidnappers were arrested.
According to officials, the suspects had sold the girl for Rs1,000,000 after abducting her. The police team traced the gang’s movements and eventually located the victim in the Kacha area, where the rescue operation was carried out.
Naila works outside the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan, where she earns a living by selling thread to visitors. After the recovery, the police reunited her with her family.
The case was registered after Naila’s mother, Zarina, filed a complaint with the police. In the first Information report, she accused suspects Waqar, Zulfiqar, and others of being involved in the kidnapping.

Investigators said the accused were labourers who had been working on the Sehwan canal. They allegedly kidnapped the girl and first kept her in Nawabshah before moving her to the Kacha area of Khairpur.
Police officials said the interrogation of the arrested suspects is ongoing. They believe more members of the kidnapping gang are involved and expect further arrests soon.
