The cabinet meeting was held in the state capital under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore. Senior officials said the session discussed key administrative, education, welfare, and development matters in detail.
The cabinet also reviewed progress on the agreement reached with the Awami Action Committee and reaffirmed its commitment to fully implement the accord.
Approval was granted for age relaxation in government jobs for the brother of martyr Sajjad Resham. The cabinet also approved compensation for the heirs of Zahid Qureshi, who was martyred in Bagh.
Members approved the allocation and transfer of state land for setting up Danish School Haveli. A four-member committee was also formed to address pending matters related to Healthcare Hospital Mirpur.
To avoid disruption in education, the cabinet allowed co-educational schools up to the primary level in remote areas where separate buildings for boys and girls are not available.
Addressing the meeting, the prime minister said public welfare, education, health, and development projects remain the government’s top priorities. He stressed that the agreement with the Awami Action Committee would be implemented in full.

“The Health Card facility will give the common citizen direct access to quality healthcare services”, the prime minister said, while directing departments to ensure timely execution of decisions.
Through a unanimous resolution, the cabinet condemned the denial of the right to self-determination to Kashmiris, the illegal detention of Hurriyat leader Muhammad Yasin Malik, and human rights violations in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The cabinet also congratulated the Pakistan Air Force on developing the “Taimoor” defense system and praised the Pakistan Army for the successful helicopter rescue in the Leyah Valley.
“The nation takes pride in the professionalism and sacrifices of its brave armed forces”, the prime minister remarked.
The meeting was attended by cabinet members, the chief secretary, and senior government secretaries.
