Bigg Boss star Abdu Rozik arrested in Dubai for alleged theft

(Web Desk): Tajik social media influencer and ex-Bigg Boss participant Abdu Rozik has been arrested at Dubai International Airport, according to media reports.

Media reports revealed that Abdu Rozik has been detained at Dubai airport on suspicion of stealing.

Abdu Rozik, who hails from Tajikistan and is a mere 100 centimeters tall, has been residing in Dubai under a Golden Visa. According to the reported arrest, he came into Dubai from Montenegro and was apprehended by authorities upon landing.

No official comment has been issued by Abdu Rozik s management or the Dubai government thus far. There has also been no comment from the Tajik government.

A colleague who is close to Rozik said that even though they have not been formally informed, they were told that the arrest could be related to allegations of theft.

It is important to mention here that Abdu is a famous social media influencer, celebrating a fan following of millions.

Abdu Rozik became a global sensation after his time on Bigg Boss 16, where he stole hearts with his suave nature and acquired a huge following in India and other parts of Asia.

In 2024, Rozik expanded his public persona by launching his restaurant brand “Habibi” in the UK and making his boxing debut at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

Previously, in 2023, he had been questioned by India’s Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering. However, he was not officially listed as an accused in the investigation.
