The news of her passing was shared by her younger daughter, singer Rahma Ali, in an emotional post on Instagram.

Rahma stated that her mother’s funeral prayer had been offered in DHA Phase 5, Lahore.

Humaira Abid Ali, also known in the entertainment world as Humaira Chaudhry, won the hearts of audiences through her powerful performances in several popular television dramas.

Among her memorable works are Neel Polish, Kankar, Jab We Wed, Sami, and others. Her distinctive style and dignified presence earned her a unique place in the industry.

Humaira married legendary actor Abid Ali in 1973. The two met during the recording of the iconic drama serial Jhok Sial. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2006. She leaves behind three daughters—Imaan Ali, Rahma Ali, and Maryam Ali. Imaan and Rahma have followed in their parents  footsteps and are active members of the showbiz industry.
