According to media reports, Ranveer Singh received a voice note on WhatsApp in which the sender demanded millions of rupees. The person allegedly identified himself as being associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

After the incident od receiving death threats, Ranveer Singh immediately informed Mumbai Police. Authorities responded quickly and increased security outside his residence as a precaution. Additional police personnel have been deployed, and private security guards are also on duty.

Police officials said technical teams are working to trace the origin of the voice note. Investigators are trying to determine who sent the message and whether the death threat is credible.

The death threat comes just days after gunshots were fired outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence in Mumbai’s Juhu area.

Reports stated that at least five bullets were fired at the nine-storey building, and one bullet hit the glass of a gym on the first floor. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Investigating authorities are also examining whether the two incidents are connected. Earlier, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had allegedly claimed responsibility for the firing at Rohit Shetty’s residence through a social media post.

An audio clip of a person identified as Arjun Bishnoi had also surfaced in connection with that case.

The recent threat to Ranveer Singh has raised concerns within the Bollywood industry, as security risks for celebrities appear to be increasing. Fans are expressing worry over the actor’s safety while police continue their investigation.
