She said she connected with the MMA fighter through her passion for fitness, which eventually brought them closer.

Though Krishna Shroff did not publicly name him, media reports identify him as Afghan fighter Abdul Azim Badakhshi.

She explained that they first met at an event in Mumbai, then continued communicating via Instagram and video calls for around eight months before meeting again in Goa.

The couple spent two weeks in Goa, followed by time together in Delhi, and later decided to live together in Mumbai. Krishna Shroff emphasized that true love means caring for each other’s happiness and peace of mind.

She added that language was initially a barrier, as her partner spoke Persian while she communicated in English, but they managed to build understanding through patience and communication.
