The reports indicated that Govinda was reportedly dating a 30-year-old Marathi actress.

In her recent vlog, Sunita Ahuja also spoke about the rumor-mill during an interview with actress Sambhavna Seth. She conceded knowing about the rumors but left no room for doubt that if ever Govinda betrayed her trust, she would be the first to share it with the media.

Sunita also opined that certain members of Govinda s extended family were not pleased with their relationship. "They cannot understand why our family is still together and smiling while theirs isn t. Govinda stays away from the bad crowd, and I think being around negative people is enough to make you corrupt," she said.

Though disappointed by the ongoing rumors, Sunita refused to say that her relationship with Govinda has been shaken. "We have shared our lives closely for decades. He still returns home, and I have given my entire life to him from the time I was little until now. I still love him deeply. Yes, the rumors distressed me, but I remain strong for my children," she said.

Reacting to charges of Govinda s affair with a young actress, Sunita shared the woes of the industry. "Today some struggling girls seek rich men to take care of them. But unless I see it with my own eyes, I won t believe it. And if I ever do, then like Sunny Deol s popular dialogue—my hand weighs five kilos," she cracked.
