According to police reports, Amrish first sprayed chili on Manjula, then proceeded to attack her repeatedly. He slammed her head against the wall and struck her on her neck, thighs, and ribs.

When the devastating news was received, Manjula Shrotri was rushed to Victoria Hospital in critical condition. She is currently undergoing treatment in the Victoria Hospital. As per sources, the couple had two kids together and had been married from 20 years. However, their relationship had grown strained in recent times, prompting the actress to file for separation three months ago.
