The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs3,400 and settled at Rs469,562. At the same time, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs2,915 to Rs402,573, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The rate of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also moved up. It gained Rs2,672 and reached Rs369,038, showing a strong upward trend across gold categories.
Silver prices followed the same direction. The price of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs70 to Rs8,195, while 10 grams of silver went up by Rs60 to Rs7,025.
In the international market, gold prices rose by $34 to reach $4,472 per ounce. Silver prices also increased by $0.7 and stood at $77.20 per ounce, the association reported.
