Silver prices in the local market also recorded a fresh rise.
International Gold Prices Move Higher
In the international market, gold prices increased by $28 to reach $4,181 per ounce. The rise in global rates was followed by an increase in local gold prices.
The latest increase reflects a continued rise in the value of gold in both international and domestic markets. However, prices may change as global market conditions shift.

In the local market, the price of gold increased by Rs2,800 per tola to reach Rs440,636. The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs2,401 to Rs377,774.
These increases have made gold more expensive for people planning to buy jewellery or invest in the precious metal. Buyers may need to spend more than they did during the previous trading session.
Silver Prices Also Rise
Silver prices also increased in Pakistan’s local market. The price of silver rose by Rs108 per tola to reach Rs6,256.
The rise in silver prices came alongside the increase in gold rates. Both precious metals recorded gains in the latest market update.
Previous Gold Prices in Pakistan
In the previous trading session, international gold prices remained at $4,153 per ounce. In Pakistan, gold was priced at Rs437,836 per tola, while 10 grams of gold cost Rs375,373.
The latest figures show an increase in both international and local gold rates compared with the previous session. Buyers and investors will be watching market movements to see whether prices continue to rise or begin to fall.
The latest increase has pushed gold prices in Pakistan to another high level, making jewellery more expensive for ordinary buyers. People planning weddings or other purchases may face higher costs.
Gold and silver prices can change quickly because of movements in international markets and other economic factors. Buyers should check the latest rates before making a purchase.
