Gold prices fall slightly after major rise in Pakistan
Gold price sees minor decline
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said the price of one tola of gold fell by Rs100. The new price of one tola gold has reached Rs460,236 in the local market.
The price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs85. After the decrease, 10 grams of gold is now priced at Rs394,578.
Global market also sees small drop
Gold prices also recorded a slight decline in the international market. Global gold became $1 cheaper and reached $4,377 per ounce.
The small decline in local gold prices came after a major increase a day earlier. The price of one tola gold had risen by Rs6,900 on the previous day, showing a strong upward movement.
Key factors behind gold prices
Experts said gold prices in the local market are affected by international gold rates, the value of the dollar and other economic factors. This means even a small change in the global market can affect gold prices in Pakistan.
The latest decline remains limited compared with the previous day’s sharp increase. Market participants are now watching whether gold prices continue to move up and down in the coming trading sessions.
What buyers and investors are watching
Consumers and investors are closely watching the gold market for its next move. Future changes in international prices, currency rates and other economic conditions could influence local gold prices.
Gold prices showed a small decline after a major rise a day earlier. The market remains sensitive to global gold rates and currency movements, so further changes are possible.
