Gold price in Pakistan surges for fifth straight day
Gold price in Pakistan has continued its upward trend, rising for the fifth consecutive day as local bullion markets record another significant increase.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold has increased by Rs800 per tola, taking the price to Rs457,336 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold has also climbed by Rs685, reaching Rs392,091. Meanwhile, silver prices have increased by Rs77 per tola, with one tola of silver now selling for Rs6,903.
The latest increase has pushed the total rise in gold prices over the past five days to Rs29,400 per tola.
Gold had already gained Rs28,600 per tola during the previous four trading days, showing the strength of the recent rally in Pakistan’s precious metals market.
The continued increase is likely to attract attention from investors and consumers who closely monitor gold prices as a potential investment and a hedge against economic uncertainty.
The rise in local prices has also come amid an increase in international gold rates.
In the global market, the price of gold has risen by $8 per ounce to $4,349, according to market data.
International gold prices, currency movements and domestic market conditions can all influence bullion rates in Pakistan. Changes in the value of the rupee against the US dollar can also affect the local price of imported gold.
With gold prices rising for five consecutive days, market participants will be watching closely to see whether the rally continues or prices begin to stabilize in the coming sessions.
The latest surge keeps gold firmly in focus for both investors and buyers across Pakistan.
