Govt hikes petroleum products' prices

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): The federal government has raised the prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight.
Government has increased the price of petrol by Rs0.56 per litre.
According to the notification issued by Finance Division, the new price of petrol is Rs252.66 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) was increased by Rs2.96, settling at Rs258.34 per litre, the notification said.
The new rates come into effect on January 1, 2025.

On December 15, government kept the petrol prices, remaining unchanged and reduced High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs3.05 per litre for the next fortnight.
