Gold prices go up in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (Suno News): The price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs2,200 per tola, according to All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Gold rates saw steep rise in global and local markets consecutively.

During the trading, on Saturday, the price of gold increased by $22 in international market, settling at $2,715 per ounce. This global rise has had a direct impact on local markets in Pakistan.

With the hike of Rs2,200 per tola, the gold is sold at Rs282,700 on Saturday.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold went up by Rs1,857, reaching Rs242,370.

The continuous increase in gold prices is linked to several global economic factors, with analysts predicting that this trend could continue if current market conditions persist.

Yesterday, the price of gold per tola was increased by Rs2,500, reaching Rs280,500 and the price of 10-gram of gold rose by Rs2,143, closing at Rs240,483 in Pakistan.

However, the price of per tola and ten-gram silver remained unchanged, settled at Rs3450 and Rs2,957 respectively.
