(Web Desk): Pakistan and China have signed multiple agreements to expand cooperation in machinery, healthcare innovation and livestock vaccine development.

Pakistan and China have signed several agreements and memoranda of understanding to expand cooperation in construction machinery, livestock health and advanced medical technology, marking a new phase of bilateral collaboration.

During a formal signing ceremony, one joint venture agreement and two MoUs were finalized between Pakistani and Chinese institutions aimed at strengthening long-term industrial and technical cooperation. The agreements also focus on attracting investment to establish manufacturing facilities in Pakistan for construction machinery and promoting local production capacity.

In the healthcare sector, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Dr Ziauddin Hospital and Shenzhen Weibang Technology. The partnership will promote the use of intelligent medical robots and support the development of integrated digital healthcare solutions aimed at improving patient care and hospital efficiency.

Another agreement was signed involving Al Hassan Trade Establishment, Sany International Development and Hainan Jiaolong International Technology. This collaboration will focus on high-end construction equipment, machinery manufacturing and services linked to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects, including technology transfer, workforce training and after-sales support.

A separate joint venture was signed between the Livestock and Fisheries Department of Sindh and Luoyang Modern Biology Group. The agreement covers the supply of animal vaccines, including foot-and-mouth disease vaccines, along with the development of livestock tracking systems and related biotechnology solutions.

Officials said these agreements are expected to enhance Pakistan’s industrial base, improve animal health systems and introduce modern medical technologies. They added that the initiatives reflect the continued strengthening of long-standing economic and strategic cooperation between Pakistan and China, particularly under the CPEC framework.
