(Web Desk): Saudi Arabia has launched a new online system allowing international pilgrims to apply for Umrah visas and book services directly through the Nusuk platform.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah now offers a new online service called Nusuk Umrah. This platform allows Muslims from around the world to apply for Umrah visas and book their pilgrimage services directly, without the need for travel agents or middlemen.

Pilgrims can visit umrah.nusuk.sa to choose either full Umrah packages or select individual services such as visa processing, accommodation, transportation, and guided tours.

This system operates alongside existing travel agents, giving pilgrims more freedom and control to plan their journey according to their needs. Saudi officials say this move is part of the country’s Vision 2030, which aims to make the Hajj and Umrah experience easier, more modern, and more accessible for Muslims everywhere.

In the past, most Umrah pilgrims had to go through approved travel agents to get visas and arrange their trips. This process was often expensive and complicated, with limited options to customize services. To address these issues, Saudi Arabia has been working to digitize the pilgrimage process.

The Nusuk app and portal were first introduced for Hajj and are now expanded to include Umrah, allowing pilgrims to plan their trips with more freedom, affordability, and ease.
