South Korean actress Kang Seo-ha passed away at 31

(Web Desk): South Korean actress Kang Seo-ha died at the age of 31 following a valiant fight with cancer.

The news of her passing on Monday was posted by her close friend through a heart-wrenching tribute on social media.

"Eonni, I guess you re happy and free of pain now. I miss you so much," the friend posted, presenting Kang as a very considerate and nice individual even as she suffered so much pain.

The friend added that even as she depended on painkillers, Kang always said that she was thankful things weren t worse. "She endured such a lot of suffering. I hope she finds only happiness now."

Her wake will be held at the funeral hall of the Catholic University of Korea, Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital on July 16, and she will be buried in her family’s plot somewhere in Haman, Gyeongnam Province.

Kang, who started her showbiz career in 2012 with a stint as a guest in a music video, went on to be best known for some hit K-dramas, such as Assembly, The Flower in Prison, First Love Again, and Nobody Knows.

Her death has left fellow actors and fans in grief. “She was a gifted performer who will not only remember for what she did but how she lived,” one comment read.
