KP to stop new construction at tourist sites

PESHAWAR (Web Desk): It has been decided to impose a temporary ban on new construction at tourist sites in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Chief Secretary KP said that it has been decided to impose a temporary ban on new construction at tourist sites in the province, after which the NOCs issued for construction work have also been canceled.

He said that steps have been taken to maintain the natural beauty of tourist destinations and protect the environment, while encroachments and poor drainage systems in tourist destinations are also being considered.
The Chief Secretary directed that the authorities established for Kaghan, Naran and other tourist destinations should work under the master plan.
