Beneficiaries receive credit ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs2 million, based on their business needs and tier eligibility. PMYP emphasizes inclusion with gender-based quotas, reserved spots for women and underserved regions, and streamlined online application systems.

An expanded component of the programme — Tier-4 financing — now supports laptop and digital learning purchases, enabling freelancers and students to participate in the digital economy.

Success stories under the scheme span thousands of startups and agricultural ventures, boosting local job creation, innovation, and economic participation. This has helped young business owners contribute directly to the national economy, especially in rural and semi-urban regions, as per government officials.
