Advisor to the Chief Minister on Women Development, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, shared the initiative during her visit to the Dental Section of Civil Hospital Quetta. She emphasized that a healthy smile not only builds confidence but also represents overall well-being, a key focus of this new program.
The project will establish modern dental centers in Quetta and other divisional headquarters, staffed entirely by qualified Lady Dental Surgeons. These centers will provide professional dental treatment and preventive care in a comfortable environment designed for women.
Dr. Buledi stated that the centers will also hold awareness sessions to educate women on oral hygiene, helping them care for their own health and their families’. She appreciated the efforts of Civil Hospital’s dental staff and the management of the Dental College for maintaining cleanliness and quality despite limited resources.
The advisor reaffirmed the government’s commitment to advancing women’s health and empowerment through inclusive healthcare projects. “We are committed to building a healthier and more empowered future for the women of Balochistan,” she said.

This initiative marks a major step in addressing gender gaps in healthcare in Balochistan. By creating women-only dental facilities, the government is promoting accessibility, comfort, and confidence among women seeking medical care — a move that could inspire similar programs across Pakistan.
