Doha (Web Desk): Trump warns to destroy Iran gas field if Qatar plant is hit again, as tensions rise over attacks on energy sites.

Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran, saying the US could take major action if attacks on Qatar’s energy facilities continue. The situation has increased tensions across the Middle East.

Trump said Iran must stop targeting key sites like Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG facility. He warned that if such attacks continue, the US could “massively blow up” Iran’s South Pars gas field, one of the world’s largest gas reserves.

The warning came after recent strikes caused heavy damage to energy facilities in Qatar. Fires broke out at the Ras Laffan plant, but emergency teams managed to control the situation.

Iran has launched attacks on Gulf energy sites in response to earlier strikes on its own South Pars gas field. These actions are part of the ongoing conflict involving the US, Israel, and Iran.

Trump also claimed that Washington had no role in the earlier attack on Iran’s gas field. He added that “NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL” on the site if Iran stops its strikes on Qatar.

Meanwhile, global oil prices have already increased sharply, rising by about five percent due to fears of supply disruption. The Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global oil transport, has seen reduced tanker movement due to security threats.

The conflict has continued for weeks, with heavy casualties reported in Iran. Despite this, Iran is still carrying out missile and drone attacks across the region.

Saudi Arabia has also raised concerns after intercepting drones targeting its energy sites. Officials said they reserve the right to respond if attacks continue.

The situation remains tense, with global markets closely watching developments as energy supply risks grow.
