Strait of Hormuz will never be open to US and Israel: Iranian military spokesperson
(Web Desk): Iran warns US and Israel will never pass Strait of Hormuz, as tensions rise and military officials vow strong response to any escalation or attacks.

The spokesperson of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters has issued a strong warning, declaring that the United States and Israel will never be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, further escalating already heightened regional tensions.

Iran Rejects US and Israel Access to Strategic Waterway

In a statement, the spokesperson said that Iran remains fully prepared for any form of escalation, stressing that recent developments in the region have significantly changed the strategic landscape of the Strait of Hormuz.

The official further claimed that US President Donald Trump miscalculated both the beginning and potential expansion of the conflict, adding that any escalation would ultimately result in failure for Washington.

According to the statement, Iran has also warned that any attacks on civilian targets would be met with a “double response,” significantly raising the stakes in the ongoing geopolitical confrontation.

IRGC Navy Claims Strategic Shift in Region

Separately, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy claimed that the strategic situation in the Strait of Hormuz has permanently changed. In a statement shared on social media platform X, the naval command said that foreign dominance over this critical maritime route has effectively ended.

The IRGC Navy further stated that recent regional developments have shifted the balance of power, limiting external influence—particularly that of the United States—in nearby waters.

Iranian Military Response to US Rhetoric

Iranian military spokesperson Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaghari of the Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters also responded to recent US statements, saying that political rhetoric and propaganda cannot erase what he described as America’s “defeat and humiliation.”

He added that President Trump is currently facing difficulties, and that no amount of media messaging or psychological tactics can reverse what Iran views as strategic outcomes on the ground.

Escalating Regional Tensions

The remarks come amid rising tensions between Iran and Western powers, particularly over control and security of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical oil shipping routes. Analysts warn that continued escalation could have serious implications for global energy markets and regional stability.
