North Korea strongly criticized Washington and Tel Aviv for carrying out military strikes against Iran. In a statement released by the Korean Central News Agency, a spokesperson of the DPRK Foreign Ministry described the attacks as a serious violation of international law.
The spokesperson said, “Israel’s military attack on Iran, launched under the U.S. active support and patronage, and the military action of the U.S. which joined in it are an illegal act of aggression and the most despicable form of violation of sovereignty in their nature from A to Z.”
He added that a “military invasion” of Iran had already been “within the range of possible prediction” due to ongoing U.S. military activities in the Middle East.
In another report, KCNA highlighted Iran’s criticism of what it called a “systematic and frenzied propaganda campaign” by the U.S. and Israel. It also quoted, “[An Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson] condemned the repeated disinformation about Iran’s nuclear program and ballistic missiles by American and Israeli war fanatics, stating that this practice is based on the Nazi propaganda principle that a lie told repeatedly becomes ‘truth,’”.

However, North Korean media did not report on Iran’s retaliatory attacks on U.S. military bases in the region. It also avoided mentioning the reported death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the earlier capture of former Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro by U.S. authorities.
Kim Jong Un recently criticized Washington, accusing it of spreading “tyranny” and global “chaos.” He said, “Under the banner of so-called ‘America First,’ the U.S. has no regard for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security interests of other countries, and has been advocating ‘peace through strength’ solely to satisfy its hegemonic ambitions, without hesitation in invading and using force against sovereign nations,”.
The DPRK foreign ministry repeated that Washington’s “increased acts for hegemony” are “destroying global peace and stability.” It warned that such actions would make affected countries “pay a dear price.” The ministry concluded, “The war of aggression by the U.S. and Israel, which can never be justified with anything, can never be tolerated in any case,”.
