(Web Desk): Iran claims US is targeting its own pilot after a downed jet incident, as tensions rise and Tehran warns Donald Trump of turning the region into “hell.”

The Iranian military has alleged that the United States is attempting to eliminate its own pilot who survived a downed aircraft incident and landed inside Iran, significantly escalating US-Iran tensions.

According to Iranian media citing military sources, US forces carried out multiple airstrikes in the same area where the aircraft was shot down two days earlier. The incident reportedly took place near Kohgiluyeh, where Iranian defense systems allegedly destroyed a US aircraft, allowing the pilot to eject safely before landing inside Iranian territory.

Conflicting Reports Over Pilot’s Fate

Initial reports suggested that the pilot may have been detained by Iranian authorities, although no official confirmation has been issued. Iranian officials have remained cautious, neither confirming nor denying the pilot’s presence in the country.

An unnamed official accused Washington of concealing the truth, stating that the US is “not telling the full story,” even regarding the pilot it claims to be attempting to rescue. The remarks have fueled speculation over whether the reported airstrikes were part of a rescue mission or an attempt to silence the stranded pilot.

Iran Issues Strong Warning to Donald Trump

In a parallel escalation, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has issued a stern warning to Donald Trump, cautioning against further military aggression.

A spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that any expansion of hostilities would turn the entire region into “hell” for the United States. The statement reflects growing regional anxiety amid intensifying military activity.

This warning came after Trump reportedly threatened Iran with severe consequences if the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz was not reopened within a specified timeframe. He had earlier granted a 10-day window, stating that no attacks on energy installations would occur during that period—however, strikes have reportedly continued, including alleged targeting of nuclear-related facilities.

Escalation Raises Global Concerns

The combination of the downed US aircraft, conflicting claims about the pilot’s fate, and escalating rhetoric between Tehran and Washington has raised fears of a broader regional conflict. Analysts warn that continued military actions and threats could destabilize not only Iran but also critical global energy routes and neighboring countries.
