Iran has launched a fresh wave of missile and drone attacks on Israel, causing significant destruction in Tel Aviv, where multiple buildings and vehicles were reportedly damaged.
The attacks mark a sharp escalation in the ongoing regional conflict, with both sides exchanging strikes in recent weeks.
Tel Aviv Suffers Heavy Damage
According to initial reports, the strikes caused:
- Severe damage to residential and commercial buildings
- Destruction of vehicles across affected areas
- Disruption to daily life in central and northern Tel Aviv
Emergency services were deployed immediately as authorities assessed the extent of the damage.
Iranian Military Targets Strategic Sites
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for the attacks, stating that this was the 69th wave of strikes targeting key Israeli assets.
Officials said the operation focused on:
- Intelligence agency facilities
- Military-linked commercial and logistics centers
- Strategic support infrastructure
The IRGC reported the use of advanced missile systems, including Khyber Shikan, Emad, and Sejjil missiles, along with drones.

Media Restrictions Imposed After Attacks
Following the strikes, Israeli police reportedly restricted journalists from covering certain impacted areas, citing security concerns.
Iranian officials claimed that such restrictions indicate the scale of destruction caused by the attacks, though independent verification remains limited.
Rising Middle East Tensions
The latest strikes are part of a broader escalation in the 2026 Iran–Israel conflict escalation, which has seen increasing use of drones and missiles across the region.
Experts warn that continued escalation could:
- Trigger wider regional instability
- Disrupt global markets, especially energy
- Increase risks to civilian infrastructure
Global Concerns Over Escalation
The intensifying conflict has raised alarm internationally, with calls for restraint growing louder as both sides continue military operations.
Analysts say the situation remains highly volatile, with the potential for further retaliation in the coming days.
