Web Desk: Iran has said that ongoing discussions with the United States are making progress through Pakistani mediation, raising hopes that a long-awaited agreement could be reached in the coming weeks.

Speaking after a United Nations Security Council meeting in New York, Iran’s ambassador to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, said that Iran US talks are continuing and both sides remain engaged through diplomatic channels facilitated by Pakistan. He added that proposals and views are still being exchanged as efforts move forward.

According to Amir Saeid Iravani, Iran has not yet received a final document, but discussions are progressing toward a possible understanding.

His remarks have fueled speculation that the ongoing Iran United States negotiations may be entering a crucial stage.

When asked whether an Iran US agreement could be finalized by the end of the month, Amir Saeid Iravani responded positively, saying, “We hope so.”

The comment has drawn global attention as diplomats and analysts closely monitor developments in the region.

The latest statement highlights the growing importance of Pakistan mediation in helping maintain communication between Tehran and Washington.

Over recent months, officials from both countries have continued exchanging messages through Pakistan as part of broader diplomatic efforts.

The Pakistan diplomatic role has become increasingly significant in efforts aimed at reducing tensions and encouraging dialogue.

Reports indicate that Pakistani officials have remained actively involved in facilitating communication and consultations between the two sides.

While optimism is growing, Iranian officials stress that some issues remain unresolved. Iran has repeatedly stated that final details of any Iran US agreement will depend on broader consensus and mutual understanding between the parties.

Iravani also reiterated Iran’s position that the ceasefire should apply across the region, including Lebanon. However, Israel continues to reject that interpretation, reflecting ongoing disagreements over regional security arrangements.
