Web Desk: Iran has rejected the US proposals for a ceasefire, saying the plan is not logical and that it will not halt military operations until its objectives are met.

Iranian media reported that the country will continue its defensive actions and will only agree to a truce on its own conditions.

Tehran emphasized that US President Donald Trump cannot decide when the war ends. Messages sent through regional mediators highlighted that Iran will maintain its defense until its demands are satisfied.

Iran’s first conditions for ending the conflict include stopping attacks and ending the killing of Iranian officials. The country also demands compensation for losses caused by the war.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson confirmed that no negotiations with the US are currently happening and described past US diplomatic attacks as highly destructive.

Reports indicate that the US sent a 15-point peace plan to Iran through Pakistan, asking Iran to halt nuclear enrichment, shut down key nuclear plants in Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow, and stop funding proxy groups in the region. The plan also calls for a free maritime zone in the Strait of Hormuz to ensure regional stability.

Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey are reportedly acting as mediators between the US and Iran. Analysts say the rejection shows Iran’s firm stance on its national security and regional influence, signaling that any truce will require strict adherence to Tehran’s conditions. The conflict could continue unless both sides compromise on key demands.
