Iran has restarted talks with neighbouring Oman on managing traffic through the Strait of Hormuz as tensions with the United States continue. According to Reuters, the two countries have held intermittent discussions for several weeks over arrangements for vessels using the strategic waterway.

The three-minute broadcast discussed a potential assassination plot and claimed that Barron Trump was being monitored. It also alleged that a $10 million bounty had been offered for his killing.
