Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has praised Pakistan for its effective and responsible role in efforts to reduce tensions and promote peace in the region.
In a recent statement, Pezeshkian said Iran seeks peace, stability, and brotherly relations with neighboring countries. He highlighted that Pakistan’s diplomatic approach has been constructive in preventing further escalation.
However, the Iranian president expressed strong distrust toward the United States, stating that past broken promises have eroded confidence. He stressed that the rights of the Iranian people must be respected under international laws and principles.
Pezeshkian also warned that the United States would not emerge victorious from the ongoing conflict. Instead, he said the situation could bring serious consequences not only for regional countries but also for the wider global community.
Referring to Israel, he claimed that the “Zionist regime” continues to pursue its strategic goals, raising concerns across the Muslim world. He expressed hope that unity among Muslim nations would prevent these objectives from being achieved.

The Iranian leader further emphasized that regional security should be ensured by countries within the region themselves, rather than relying on external powers.
Analysts believe these remarks signal a firm and uncompromising stance from Iran, while also highlighting Pakistan’s growing role as a mediator in regional diplomacy.
