A large funeral ceremony was held in Tehran where officials and thousands of mourners gathered to pay tribute to Ali Larijani and Gholamreza Soleimani.
According to Press TV, the ceremony was filled with grief as people honored the two top figures who were killed in recent airstrikes.

Iranian authorities said Larijani was killed early Tuesday in a strike that also took the lives of his son Morteza Larijani, his aide Alireza Bayat, along with several council staff members and bodyguards.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps also confirmed that Soleimani was killed in a US-Israeli strike on the same day, making the loss even more significant for Iran’s leadership.
Both leaders are among the highest-ranking officials killed since the conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran began last month. The situation has continued to worsen with ongoing attacks.
Reports suggest that the joint offensive by the US and Israel has caused around 1,300 deaths so far, including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In response, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and nearby regions, including Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military bases. These attacks have caused damage, casualties, and disruptions in global markets and flights.
