At least 13 people have been killed and more than 1900 injured in missile and drone attacks launched by Iran against Israel over the past week, according to Israeli health authorities.
In a statement, Israel’s Ministry of Health said that 157 people were injured during Iranian attacks in the last 24 hours alone. Emergency services and hospitals across the country have been treating a large number of civilians affected by the continuing strikes.
Officials said that 112 injured people are currently receiving treatment in hospitals. Among them, nine are reported to be in critical condition, raising concerns about the overall impact of the attacks on the healthcare system.
Medical teams remain on high alert as sirens continue to sound in several areas. Hospitals have increased emergency preparedness while ambulance services remain deployed to respond quickly to new incidents.
The Health Ministry also issued a public advisory urging citizens to follow safety guidelines when heading to bomb shelters. Authorities noted that several people were injured while rushing toward shelters during missile alerts.
