King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, extended heartfelt Eid ul Fitr greetings to Muslims worldwide. He reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to global peace, stability, and unity within the Muslim Ummah, while offering prayers for harmony and prosperity.

In Australia, Eid is also being observed today. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese visited a mosque in Sydney, joining Muslim communities and extending warm greetings on the occasion.

In Russia, particularly in the capital Moscow, Eid ul Fitr is being celebrated with full religious zeal. Special arrangements have been finalized across mosques and designated prayer grounds.
The central Eid congregation will be held at the Moscow Cathedral Mosque, where Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin will deliver the Eid sermon and lead prayers scheduled at 7:00 AM. Additional large gatherings are planned at historic and memorial mosques across the city.
Authorities have ensured enhanced security measures and designated extra prayer spaces to accommodate large crowds. National broadcaster Rossiya 1 will air special Eid transmissions, allowing wider audiences to participate in the celebrations.
Countries Observing Eid Tomorrow
Meanwhile, several countries including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Indonesia did not sight the moon and will celebrate Eid ul Fitr tomorrow.
