Iran s parliament has approved the closure of the Strait of Hormuz after the US attacks, and the final decision will be made by the Iranian National Security Council. This closure is going to disturb economy of the whole world due to its massive impact on oil prices. Analysts fear that the prices of Brent and other crude oils could rise exponentially if the Strait of Hormuz is closed. “Selective disruptions that scare off oil tankers make more sense than closing the Strait entirely, as that would also halt Iran’s own exports,” said Vivek Dhar, a commodities analyst at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He warned that such a scenario could push Brent crude above $100 per barrel.
It has been reported that Iran decided to close the Strait of Hormuz and attack American military targets after the American attack on nuclear facilities. In this regard, the Revolutionary Guards have said that America should wait a little, it will soon suffer the punishment for these attacks. Similarly, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei said that America entered the war to its own detriment, the damage to America will be much greater than that of Iran, America has now entered a formal war and will be fully responsible for this damage, if America waits a little, they will definitely suffer the consequences of these attacks.
