According to officials, emergency crews are working to restore electricity to nearly half a million households affected by outages linked to recent air attacks.
On Sunday evening, a drone strike killed a civil defence volunteer in the Belgorod region, which lies near the border and has frequently been targeted. In another incident, drones struck an apartment building in the Black Sea port city of Novorossiysk.
The Russian Defence Ministry stated that the intercepted drones were mostly over central and southern regions between 8:00pm and 11:00pm local time.
Novorossiysk mayor Andrei Kravchenko reported that drone debris hit a high-rise residential building, although no casualties were confirmed in that incident.

In Crimea, a region annexed by Russia in 2014, officials said the port city of Sevastopol faced multiple drone attacks during the day, with several drones being shot down in the latest wave.
