(Web Desk): Iran has warned US allies that any American attack will trigger retaliatory strikes on military bases across the Middle East, escalating regional tensions.

Iran has issued a stern warning to the United States and its regional allies, declaring that any military attack on Iranian territory would prompt retaliatory strikes against US military bases across the Middle East, according to senior Iranian officials.

Speaking to international media, a high-ranking Iranian official said Tehran has formally conveyed its message to key US allies in the region, urging them to restrain Washington from launching any military action against Iran. The warning has reportedly been delivered to several regional capitals, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and Oman.

The official stated that if the United States attacks Iran, American military installations located in allied countries would become legitimate targets of Iranian retaliation. Tehran emphasized that these warnings are part of its broader strategy to defend national sovereignty and deter foreign military intervention.

Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal reported that Gulf states led by Saudi Arabia are strongly opposed to a potential US strike on Iran. According to the report, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman have cautioned Washington that an attack on Iran could severely disrupt global oil markets, triggering economic consequences that may also negatively impact the US economy.

Saudi officials have reportedly assured Tehran that the kingdom will not participate in any conflict against Iran and will not allow US forces to use Saudi airspace for launching attacks. Similar assurances have reportedly been conveyed by other Gulf states seeking to distance themselves from a potential regional war.

Arab officials fear that military escalation could disrupt oil tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical maritime chokepoint carrying nearly one-fifth of the world’s oil supply. Any disruption could send global energy prices soaring and destabilize international markets.

Tensions have intensified amid growing unrest inside Iran and increasingly sharp rhetoric from Washington. The Wall Street Journal noted that while the Trump administration has not disclosed the exact nature of any potential military action, US officials believe the likelihood of confrontation remains high. A White House official said President Donald Trump continues to review all available options.

Adding to the volatility, the United States has reportedly begun reducing personnel at key regional military installations, including Qatar’s Al Udeid Air Base, the largest US military base in the Middle East. Officials described the move as a precautionary adjustment rather than a full evacuation.

Iranian authorities have reiterated that any foreign military action would be met with decisive force. Tehran maintains that regional stability depends on preventing external aggression and has called on neighboring countries to resist becoming part of any military campaign against Iran.
