President Donald Trump has imposed a 10% global tariff on all countries after the Supreme Court of the United States struck down his earlier trade measures.
According to international media reports, Trump signed a new executive order introducing the blanket tariff. The move came shortly after the top US court declared his previous tariff actions invalid, creating fresh uncertainty around America’s trade policy.
Speaking about the decision, Trump confirmed that he had signed the order for a 10% global tariff. He said the new tariff would take effect immediately and apply to all countries. However, he insisted that existing trade agreements would remain intact, adding that only the implementation method had changed.
The US president strongly criticized the court’s ruling, calling it “shameful.” He accused certain judges of siding with Democrats and alleged that the court had come under the influence of foreign interests. His remarks signal rising tensions between the executive branch and the judiciary over trade authority.

Meanwhile, US Vice President JD Vance also condemned the court’s decision. He described the ruling on tariffs as unlawful and said it amounted to a clear violation of the law.
The latest development has sparked debate in political and business circles, with analysts warning that the sudden tariff could impact global markets and strain relations with key trading partners.
