Govt bans mobile internet service in major city
The Balochistan government temporarily suspended mobile internet services in Quetta on Wednesday due to potential security threats. Officials said the decision was taken as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order and ensure public safety.
Assistant Interior Minister Babar Yousafzai confirmed that the Quetta mobile internet suspension was implemented for a limited period.
He stated that protecting citizens and safeguarding lives and property remain the government’s highest priorities.
