WhatsApp rolls out new feature, allowing users to share files with other apps

(Web Desk): WhatsApp is set to introduce a new feature, allowing users to share and forward messages and media with other applications.

It enables the sharing of media files and messages to Meta applications and other apps, X and Snapchat.

According to WABetaInfo, its new feature is available in the latest Android 2.24.25.20 update, explores new ways of sharing content as the app is launching a new bottom bar to immediately share content with other apps.

It is reported that this new feature is in the phase of trial, is available on Google Play Store.

The new feature will enable users to opt the option of forwarding content directly to Meta applications such as Instagram and Facebook.

The users can be made stories in these applications without manually needing to download media from their chats and by only selecting a picture, video or GIF. The users will have an option, allowing them to post it as a story.

However, WhatsApp is also planning to roll out a feature for forwarding content to X and Snapchat, integrating cross-app content sharing in the communication app.

The users would have choice to share photos, videos and other media directly to the previously mentioned site and app.
