
According to media reports, the amount includes Rs24 billion in principal and Rs54 billion in late payment charges.
These meetings aim to determine whether the licences of the defaulting LDI operators will be renewed or revoked.
The PTA has summoned the leadership of each company for individual discussions to present their stance on the matter.
The regulatory body holds meeting with Telecard on April 10, with Wisecom on April 14, and with WorldCall on April 15. Dancom and Multinet called for April 16, Circlenet for April 17 respectively. The PTA called 4B Gentle for meeting on April 18.
Moreover, the meetings will be taken place at PTA Headquarters and chaired by PTA Chairman Major General (retd) Hafeez-ur-Rehman. The senior officers, PTA members, and the Director General Licencing will also be present.
Sources indicated that a representative from the Ministry of Information Technology will also attend the meetings.
