(Web Desk): The new Xiaomi Poco C85, similar to the Redmi 15C, is set to launch soon after passing approvals in multiple countries with exciting upgrades.

The Poco C85, a new smartphone from Xiaomi, is coming soon and tech fans are already getting a sneak peek of its design and features. This phone is basically a rebranded Redmi 15C and has cleared regulatory checks in places like the UAE, Thailand, Indonesia, and the US.

Its official release is expected very soon. The phone’s design is familiar but with some changes. Unlike older Poco models that had round camera modules, the C85 uses a square camera setup with two lenses, an LED flash, and a “50MP AI Camera” label. The Poco brand name is at the bottom of the phone, along with a “Poco C85” logo.

At the front, it keeps a large notch and a thick chin, similar to the Poco C75. For sound, it has a single speaker at the bottom, along with a USB-C charging port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microphone. The leaked photos show the phone will come in Black, Mint, and purple colors.

Inside, the Poco C85 features a 6.9-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth viewing. The screen is bright, reaching 810 nits, which helps in sunlight but doesn’t have deep black colors like OLED screens.

The phone uses the Helio G81 processor and has a bigger battery than before 6000mAh compared to 5160mAh in its predecessor. It also supports 33W fast charging.

A new feature is its IP64 rating, meaning the phone can resist splashes and dust better than earlier models. Overall, the Poco C85 looks like a good mix of design, power, and long battery life, and it will likely be priced affordably. Fans can expect more official news soon.
